Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Ward Nguyen Le Hien emphasized that the restoration of Nam Du Ha Communal House is not only to build a physical structure, but also has profound significance, aiming to preserve and promote the cultural, historical and spiritual values of the ward, serving as a bridge between the past, present and future, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

Nam Du Ha Communal House worships the Three Guardian Gods: the Three-headed Nine-tailed Dragon King, Grand Chancellor Chuong Vo Grand Tutor (Nguyen Xi) and the Le family Queen Mother. During the resistance war against the French, Nam Du Ha Communal House was where the Viet Minh Front in Me Linh area organized and gathered the masses to rise up and seize power in August 1945. During the 60 days and nights of "Determination to die for the Fatherland, determination to live", the communal house was the place to store food, provisions, and ensure logistics for Hanoi's resistance war... This is one of the few communal houses in Hanoi that still retains the appearance of the old architecture and many antiques. On October 2, 1990, Nam Du Ha Communal House was ranked as a National Historical - Cultural Relic by the Ministry of Culture - Information.
