Rewarding students who won national and international prizes in the 2023 school year

This is an annual activity held to reward outstanding students who are children of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.

Union leaders commend students who won national and international prizes in the 2023-2024 school year

According to the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, in the 2023-2024 school year, thousands of children of civil servants, public employees, and workers under the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union overcame difficulties, excelled in their studies, actively participated, and achieved high prizes in excellent student competitions at the provincial, city, national, and international levels.

Notably, 1,380 students won national and international prizes in the fields of nature, society, culture, arts, sports , etc. Of these, 345 students won first prizes and gold medals; 365 students won second prizes and silver medals; 515 students won third prizes and bronze medals, and 155 students won consolation prizes.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, said that commending excellent students who have won national and international awards has become a routine activity of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union. Through the commendation ceremonies, there are familiar faces, showing the students' sustained achievements and the care of their families.

"The ceremony to honor students who won national and international prizes in the 2023-2024 school year is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the deep concern of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union for students who are children of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at all levels of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the future generation of the country. Thereby, it adds motivation for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to feel secure in their work and strive to complete well the assigned tasks at agencies and units," Mr. Hieu emphasized.

At the commendation ceremony, the students were awarded laurel wreaths, letters of commendation from the President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, and a gift of a symbol of honor and a bonus by leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, and organizations, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and leaders of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
