"Promoting Vietnam - China cooperation, elevating traditional medicine"
This conference gathered more than 400 delegates, experts, scientists , and students from health universities inside and outside the Army with in-depth reports.
In his opening speech, Major General, Doctor, People's Physician Tran Quoc Viet, Director of Military Hospital 175 , said that the conference is a forum for domestic and foreign experts to share experiences, update research, expand training cooperation, and transfer technology. From there, good coordination between traditional medicine and modern medicine will be achieved in the context of global health facing many challenges related to chronic diseases, population aging, and many emerging diseases.
Mr. Duong Lap, Chinese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, in his congratulatory message also highly appreciated the medical cooperation between the two countries and expressed his belief that the Vietnam-China friendship will develop more and more sustainably.

Through the conference, the parties pledged to continue expanding cooperation in training, research, multi-center clinical trials, as well as academic exchange programs. This is an important step to bring traditional medicine closer to international standards, while further deepening the Vietnam-China friendship, contributing to serving people's health and developing regional healthcare.
Launch of Acupuncture, Massage, and Acupressure Training Center
On this occasion, Military Hospital 175 also launched the Acupuncture, Massage, and Acupressure Training Center - an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between Military Hospital 175 and Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
This project is implemented with the attention and support of the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other relevant agencies, and is expected to quickly become a prestigious address in training and transferring specialized techniques, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources and preserving and promoting the quintessence of traditional medicine in health care for the people of the two countries.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen shared that Vietnam and China have a comprehensive strategic partnership. In the field of health, Vietnam and China have a long history of cooperation in traditional medicine. In addition to bilateral cooperation, the two countries have participated in multilateral forums and cooperation organizations, contributing to the development of traditional medicine in the world.

It can be said that traditional medicine is also a component part of Vietnam's cultural heritage, which needs to be preserved and developed. In recent years, the Party and State of Vietnam have paid special attention, focused on, created favorable conditions and had many policies and regulations to develop the traditional medicine industry, in which the importance of strengthening international cooperation and integration is especially emphasized," said Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen.
