Commencement of Lang Van Complex and Resort Urban Area Project worth nearly 45,000 billion VND

The Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project with a total investment of nearly 45,000 billion VND, invested by Vinpearl Joint Stock Company (Vingroup Corporation), has officially started construction.

On the morning of June 22, Vinpearl Joint Stock Company ( Vingroup Corporation) officially started construction of the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex Project (abbreviated as Lang Van Project).

Attending the event were Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai; leaders of central ministries and branches; leaders of Da Nang city, Quang Nam province; representatives of Vingroup Corporation, Vinpearl Joint Stock Company...

Lang Van project is located in Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang with a total area of ​​512.2 hectares and a total investment of nearly 45,000 billion VND.

The project is designed according to the international standard "resort city" model, with low density of accommodation. Specifically, the project is planned as multi-functional, with full facilities from resort (hotel, resort, villa), accommodation (apartment), entertainment (theme park), cuisine, commerce to education, healthcare - creating a harmonious living space between people - nature and technology.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vingroup Corporation shared: “We determined that developing Lang Van is not simply building a resort destination, but also a journey to create a new symbol - a place where people live in harmony with nature in a modern and sustainable environment. The project will be systematically planned according to a multi-functional model, with reasonable construction density, prioritizing the preservation of natural landscapes, honoring indigenous beauty and creating an ideal, classy living space. When completed, Lang Van Project will be a true "resort paradise" and residence for people and tourists at home and abroad."

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that Lang Van area has a special cultural position. On one side is the ocean and next to the majestic Hai Van mountain.

To promote those special factors, Lang Van Project is expected to form a complex, including commercial and service works, eco-tourism development, combined with low accommodation density, associated with nature and history conservation, serving the needs of tourists, the living of local people, domestic and foreign tourists, with a civilized, modern and friendly architectural space.

Mr. Chinh highly appreciated the strategic vision, pioneering spirit, and strong determination of Vingroup Corporation, especially Vinpearl Joint Stock Company - the project investor, when choosing Da Nang to develop a large-scale project, with a total investment capital of up to nearly 45,000 billion VND.

“This is a clear demonstration of the confidence of businesses and investors in the investment environment, as well as the sustainable development prospects of Da Nang,” Mr. Chinh emphasized, adding that Da Nang City believes that the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex Project will open up great opportunities for employment, improve the lives of people in the area, attract tourism, elevate the Da Nang tourism brand on the international map, and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Da Nang in the future. The project will also be an important core in the urban development strategy of the Northwest, an area with a lot of potential, but in dire need of strategic boosts.

According to Mr. Chinh, the Da Nang city government will always accompany, support, and closely coordinate with investors to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented quickly, effectively, and on schedule.

Mr. Chinh also hopes that during the construction and operation process, investors will pay attention to factors of harmony with nature, history, preserving ecological landscape, ensuring security and national defense, and promoting indigenous cultural values.

According to Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, Lang Van Project is expected to complete and put into operation the first components from 2027, contributing to activating the economic potential of the region, opening up strong resort tourism, trade, logistics and investment activities.

This is also Vingroup's next step in its strategy to develop a new type of coastal urban chain, based on three pillars: green - smart - ecological, following the world's advanced ESG urban model.
