No one should be left behind after a natural disaster.

On the afternoon of October 4, comrade Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of the province visited and presented gifts to people affected by natural disasters in Ha Giang 2 ward and Thuan Hoa commune.

Comrade Ly Thi Lan gave gifts and learned about the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in Thuan Hoa commune.

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Tran Sy Pha, Head of the Disaster Management Board, Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society ; Mai Duc Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Red Cross Society.

The delegation visited and presented 20 gifts to flood victims in groups 4 and 5 of Ngoc Ha, Ha Giang 2 ward, including relief goods sponsored by the Vietnam Red Cross and necessities: rice, milk, drinking water, and instant noodles for households.

Comrade Ly Thi Lan and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Red Cross Society received support from sponsors.

In Thuan Hoa commune, the delegation inspected the facilities of Thuan Hoa Primary Boarding School B after the storm. At the same time, they donated 200kg of rice, 50 cartons of instant noodles, 15 cartons of water, 50 cartons of milk and clothes to the people. In addition, the delegation donated rice and clean water to cook charity meals at Quan Am Pagoda, Ha Giang 2 ward.

At the destinations, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the XVth term of the province Ly Thi Lan and the working delegation visited and encouraged people affected by natural disasters and shared the difficulties and losses that people are facing. At the same time, she hoped that people would maintain their spirits, make efforts to overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives and restore production.

Relief boxes will practically support people through difficult times.

Comrade Ly Thi Lan requested the local Party Committee and authorities to continue to closely monitor the area and fully review the damage situation of each household so that the province can have the most appropriate support plan. She emphasized that it is necessary to ensure that no one is left behind in the process of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television Mai Duc Thong and leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to support people in groups 1 and 2 of Minh Khai.

On the same afternoon, comrade Mai Duc Thong, Editor-in-Chief of the Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television, and the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and supporting units came to present gifts at groups 1 and 2 Minh Khai, Ha Giang 2 ward. Here, the delegation presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash and essential necessities to 30 households that suffered heavy losses due to the circulation of storm No. 10.
