Naval Air Force trains flight formations, prepares for sea parade

Naval Air Brigade 954 organized formation flight training to serve the sea parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Naval Air Brigade 954 (Navy, Ministry of National Defense ) said that since July 10, the unit has organized formation flight training to serve the sea parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The training process is carried out strictly, scientifically , strictly following regulations to ensure flight safety, technology and communication. Ground technical teams coordinate closely, ensuring high technical coefficient, ready to serve well for each training flight.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 10, a working delegation of the Navy led by Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, Commander of the Navy, inspected the 954th Naval Air Brigade.

Here, the Navy Commander and the working delegation listened to the commander of Brigade 954 report on the results of performing tasks in the first 6 months of 2025 and the training work to master modern technical equipment; and the preparation work to participate in the parade at sea.

Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem praised Brigade 954 for its efforts to overcome difficulties in training to master modern technical equipment and maintain good aircraft technical coefficients to serve the service's missions.

Besides, Brigade 954 needs to continue to do well in training, educating and fostering pilots to master the types of aircraft equipped in the unit; maintain strict management of troops, build a strong and comprehensive unit, and ensure absolute safety in all aspects.

Regarding the mission of participating in the sea parade, the Navy Commander requested that Brigade 954 identify this as an important mission and a great honor for officers and soldiers. The Brigade needs to continue to do well in all preparations and flight training to ensure safety, contributing to the overall success of the parade.

Previously, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, informed that during the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the army will parade and march at sea for the first time. The forces parading at sea include: Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard, Fisheries Surveillance, Militia and Self-Defense Forces participating in protecting the sea and islands, and Navy Air Force.

The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense has sent invitations to the Ministries of National Defense of 8 countries: Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to attend the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. At the same time, it invited 5 countries (Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Belarus) to send forces to participate in the parade at the celebration.
