Kien Giang: Wife invites husband to have a drug party to say goodbye to friends before going abroad

On the afternoon of April 13, An Hoa Ward Police, Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province handed over 9 people and the evidence to the Rach Gia City Police Investigation Agency to handle according to their authority the act of organizing illegal drug use.

Initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on April 12, An Hoa Ward Police caught Vo Thi Thanh Truc (born 2005, residing in An Minh Bac Commune, U Minh Thuong District) red-handed organizing illegal drug use for 8 other people at a house on 3/2 Street, An Hoa Ward, Rach Gia City.

At the police station, Truc confessed that because she was about to go work abroad with her husband for a while, on the evening of April 12, they both went to the above house.

Truc invited 7 more friends to come over. Here, Truc invited everyone to use drugs and they all agreed. After that, Truc contacted a man to buy synthetic drugs for 5.7 million VND. While the group was using them, they were caught red-handed by the police.

Through rapid testing, all 9 people tested positive for synthetic drugs.

Previously, on January 9, the Drug Crime Investigation Team of Rach Gia City Police (Kien Giang) caught Kieu Thi Loan Em (24 years old, residing in An Phu district, An Giang ) in the act of possessing 24 plastic bags suspected to be synthetic drugs at a motel on Lac Hong street, Rach Gia city. The police seized the evidence and took Loan Em to the headquarters for questioning.

During her initial interrogation, Loan Em admitted that she was addicted to drugs and had just come from An Giang to Rach Gia City to rent a room at the above mentioned motel for 4 days. Loan Em stated that the evidence that the police seized was synthetic drugs and ecstasy.
