The Steering Committee coordinates with relevant agencies to conduct research and submit to the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee on organizational models and policy mechanisms to serve the arrangement, innovation, and development of state-owned enterprises, and the transformation of public service units into joint stock companies.

The City People's Committee issued Decision No. 1820/QD-UBND on strengthening the Steering Committee for preventing state budget losses and recovering tax arrears for the period 2024 - 2025.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh is the Head of the Steering Committee. Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Head of Da Nang City Tax Department, Deputy Director of the City Police Department, Deputy Head of the Customs Branch of Region XII.

The Steering Committee is responsible for advising and proposing to the Chairman of the City People's Committee to develop plans and direct the implementation and implementation of solutions to prevent state budget losses and collect tax arrears each year to complete the state budget revenue estimates in the area assigned by the City People's Council and the City People's Committee.
