One of the two cases of violations of irrigation works in Vu Dung commune was proposed by Kim Thanh district to maintain the current status.

As of December 27, Kim Thanh district has handled 176 cases of violations of irrigation works out of a total of 178 violations. Kim Thanh is one of the localities with the second highest rate of handling violations of irrigation works in the province (after Nam Sach district).

Specifically, the district has cleared 132 cases of violations of irrigation works and discharges into the irrigation system. There are 44 cases that are allowed to remain in the status quo and continue to be used because the violations do not affect the safety and service capacity of the irrigation works. Currently, there are 2 cases of violations in Vu Dung commune, Kim Thanh district, which have coordinated with the provincial professional agencies to inspect, review, and propose the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to allow the works to remain in the status quo because the violations do not affect the management and operation of the works.

Previously, through review, Kim Thanh district had 178 cases of violations of irrigation works. Of which, 4 cases of violations occurred in 2024; 88 cases existed before 2018 and 86 cases from 2018 - 2024.

According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, localities must complete handling of violations of irrigation works before December 31, 2024.
