After two weeks of competition, on the afternoon of September 21, two neighboring football teams from the Central region, Dong Huong Quang Ngai and Kingtek Quang Nam, met in the final match of the 2025 National Dong Huong Football Tournament - DHF-S3. An exciting and attractive competition, attracting a large number of viewers directly at the stadium as well as online via the tournament's fanpage.
Fierce competition in the opening minutes of the final match
Both Quang Ngai and Kingtek Quang Nam deserved to be in the final match because of their impressive achievements since the qualifying round. A few days ago, the two Quang Nam teams created a series of extremely dramatic semi-final matches with unbelievable results. Quang Ngai, after leading Nghe An by 3 goals, was shocked when their Nghe An opponents narrowed the gap before winning with a thrilling score of 4-2.

In the other semi-final, Kingtek Quang Nam had a spectacular comeback against Binh Dinh, from being 2-0 down, they managed to equalize 2-2 in regulation time. Entering the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Ngo Dinh Thuan played excellently, twice blocking the opponent's shots to help Kingtek Quang Nam win 4-2 overall.
Hong Vuong scored the opening goal for his fellow Quang Ngai countrymen.
The two neighboring teams met in the final and the old "scenario" was repeated with Kingtek Quang Nam. They were pressured when their fellow Quang Ngai team played quite fiercely in the first 20 minutes of the match. Not only that, in the 29th minute, goalkeeper Ngo Dinh Thuan's net shook after Hong Vuong's close-range shot. This was the 5th goal since the beginning of the tournament, which could help Hong Vuong win the "Top Scorer" award.
Nguyen Van Hieu (3) equalized 1-1 for Kingtek Quang Nam
Undaunted, Kingtek Quang Nam consolidated their defense and launched a sharp attack. In the 52nd minute, from a free kick more than 25 meters from the goal, Van Hieu scored a beautiful equalizer for Quang Nam, making it 1-1. This score remained the same until the end of the match and according to the rules, the two teams had to enter a penalty shootout after 70 minutes of competition.
Teammates share joy with goalkeeper Dinh Thuan (1)
The performance of Ngo Dinh Thuan, former goalkeeper of Vietnam futsal team, never disappoints the audience. In addition to "overpowering" the young player Le Khoa of Quang Ngai to hit the post on the third penalty kick, Ngo Dinh Thuan also excellently jumped up to block Trung Kien's final shot, helping Kingtek Quang Nam win 4-3 in the penalty shootout.
Kingtek Quang Nam is the champion in the hearts of fans
With a strong investment in both human resources and finance, entering the tournament with a great fighting spirit and not giving up even in many dangerous situations, Kingtek Quang Nam truly deserved to win the 2025 National Compatriot Football Championship.
