Timely rescue of abandoned newborn baby girl

In the early morning of October 1, residents of Quang Dong residential group (Ninh Hoa ward) discovered an abandoned newborn baby girl behind Thien Y temple. Upon receiving the news, the Ninh Hoa ward police team coordinated with Quang Dong residential group to quickly arrive at the scene. Upon inspection, the baby girl was placed in a plastic basket, about 3 days old, weighing 3kg. Ninh Hoa ward police immediately took the baby to Ninh Hoa Regional General Hospital for a health check.

At the hospital, the girl was checked by doctors and nurses.

The results showed that the baby's health condition was completely normal. While waiting for the information to be verified, the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa Ward organized a temporary handover of the baby to a volunteer family for care and upbringing; at the same time, the procedure for notifying and finding relatives for the girl was carried out. The notice was posted publicly for 7 days at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa Ward. If after this time, there is no information about the baby's biological parents or relatives, the authorities will carry out the necessary legal procedures to hand the baby over to the family temporarily caring for and raising the baby. This family will be supported in registering the baby's birth and residence in accordance with the law.

The incident is attracting the attention of the local community. Many people expressed sympathy and wished the child would soon find her family. Currently, the authorities continue to investigate, clarify the cause of the incident and search for information about the girl's relatives.
