Previously, answering the Health and Life newspaper, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, a climate change and natural disaster warning expert, said that for three consecutive days, April 28, 29 and 30, there will be extremely hot weather across the country. It is forecasted that in these three consecutive days, previous temperature records will be broken. In particular, for the first time, our country can record a temperature measured in a meteorological tent of up to 45 degrees Celsius on April 30.

Experts advise that the forecast temperature above is meteorological temperature. The actual temperature outside the environment may be higher or lower depending on the type of environment. For example, in the shade of trees, the temperature may be 3-4 degrees Celsius lower, while outdoors in urban areas lacking trees can reach 48-50 degrees Celsius.

This heat wave is both extreme in intensity and long lasting, so the heat accumulated in the last days of the heat wave makes the air stuffy. The elderly and children should absolutely not go outside between 11am and 4pm in places where the temperature is higher than 43 degrees Celsius. The human temperature tolerance threshold has a limit while we have never experienced this temperature record, so we need to be careful and adapt gradually.

Everyone should remember to use water and electricity sparingly. Houses with multiple air conditioners should only use one for the whole house to save electricity and reduce the risk of overloading the power transmission line.
