On July 20, THACO held a Conference on Deploying the Operation and Management Plan for the last 6 months of 2024 of the THACO General Management Office to clarify the goals and management perspectives, and at the same time deploy the plan for the last 6 months of the year of the basic management departments from THACO to the member corporations .
Attending the Conference were Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO Tran Ba Duong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Hung Minh, General Director of THACO Pham Van Tai, Deputy General Director of THACO Luu Van Dat, Leaders of 6 Member Corporations (TĐTV) and more than 130 personnel including Leaders, potential personnel, and employees of THACO's basic Management Business Departments (NVQT) .
At the Conference, employees heard about THACO's Strategy, Operational Plan and Management for the last 6 months of 2024; Financial, Accounting, Investment and Management Plan; Operational Plan and Management for the last 6 months of 2024 of THACO's basic HR Boards.
2024 is the second year that THACO continues to implement its multi-industry strategy and 5-year plan (2023 - 2027) with the goal of completing the Governance Model of a large-scale multi-industry industrial group by 2027 with a complete governance platform and successfully applying digital transformation. THACO plays the role of a controlling shareholder, holding the function of Investment and Operational Management of the subsidiaries.
Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO Tran Ba Duong said: “The management work at THACO is organized into 3 levels: THACO - Member Group - General Company or Management Block - Subsidiary Company through the functional groups: Basic, Specialized and Business along with standardized regulations and processes. The Functional Departments need to carry out management work flexibly, in accordance with each development stage and the specific operations of each department and unit. At the same time, continuously innovate, manage, and effectively control work, handle risks and not be limited in operational capacity”.
“Developing production and business is not only about economic development , contributing to society and the country, but also about human development. Human resources at THACO, especially the Professional Departments, need to cultivate not only expertise but also learn other professions, rotate positions to grasp practical work, create real value, thereby improving management , consulting, advising, and supporting the Board of Directors. In addition, the staff of the General Office must always be in the mindset of practicing a positive attitude towards life and work, having will, determination, being receptive, changing, and becoming potential leaders in the future,” added the Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO.
In the coming time, THACO needs to hold meetings to unify viewpoints, ensure continuity in production and business activities, and at the same time, perfect the human resources system, build specific working processes, closely follow reality and have close connections between departments/divisions to improve operational efficiency. From there, complete the set goals and plans and orient the 5-year plan, period 2023 - 2027.
