Lam Dong will have Trinh Cong Son street

On March 4, at the regular press conference of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, a representative of Bao Loc City People's Committee said that in the activities to celebrate 30 years of construction and urban development of Bao Loc, the locality reviewed and renamed a number of roads.

The city dedicated a street to the late famous musician Trinh Cong Son.

This route has not yet determined its specific location, but will be a route in the city center and have a romantic space, aiming to enhance promotional activities for Bao Loc city.

According to the procedure, Bao Loc City People's Committee will prepare a route profile for Lam Dong Provincial People's Council to approve.

Bao Loc is one of two cities of Lam Dong province. This is a small city located in the southwest of Lam Dong province.

The city has a strong position in the tea industry, due to its location at an altitude suitable for growing tea. In addition, Bao Loc is also known as a fertile land and the capital of the Vietnamese silk industry. Bao Loc is currently a class III urban area.

According to recorded data, during his lifetime, the late musician Trinh Cong Son graduated from Quy Nhon Pedagogical School and was assigned to Lam Dong Primary School (provincial capital located in B'Lao, now Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province) in August 1964.

Writer Tran Ngoc Trac, who recorded the imprint of musician Trinh Cong Son in Bao Loc and Da Lat, said: "Trinh Cong Son was appointed as head teacher at Bao An Primary School.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education at that time, an elementary school with four classes or less was called a primary school, and the head was called a head teacher. Bao An Primary School only had three classes, Mr. Son was the head teacher and taught grade 3.
