On the morning of June 16, Mr. Vo Thanh Phong, General Director of Hau Giang Maritime Services Company Limited (VIMC Hau Giang), said that VIMC Hau Giang general port has just received the specialized ship DING HENG 38 with a capacity of 20,000 tons.

20,000 ton ship docks at VIMC port

This is the first time a 20,000-ton ship has entered the Hau River and docked at VIMC port after 16 years of use.

The ship will unload 10,000 tons of fish fat through the port.

The ship will unload 10,000 tons of fish oil through the port. It is expected that on June 17, the ship will leave VIMC port for Canada.

From the beginning of 2023 to now, VIMC has loaded and unloaded about 450,000 tons of goods through the port, reaching 45% of the yearly plan.
