With the mission of bringing modern technology and knowledge closer to the young generation, since 2020 STEAM for Vietnam has cooperated with many prestigious domestic and foreign units to organize the annual STEAMese Festival.

Over the past three years, STEAMese Festival has become a leading educational and technological playground, connecting hundreds of thousands of students, teachers and parents across the country.

In 2025, the event returns with a bold twist, turning the Festival into the largest “AI festival” in Vietnam’s education sector for the first time. Not just an academic experience, this year’s Festival will expand both its scale and content, transforming AI from a concept into a close, practical tool.

According to the STEAMese Festival 2025 Organizing Committee, this event will be open to students, teachers and parents nationwide for free. Taking place with the theme “AI for All”, the event promises to open up opportunities for the young generation to directly enter the AI era, while demonstrating the cooperation of domestic and foreign organizations in promoting educational innovation.

More importantly, the event brings practical benefits to students and teachers when they experience AI, supplement practical skills and shape the luggage of dynamic digital citizens, confident in integration.

The organizers said that in the global context, AI is not only a technology but is becoming a new "knowledge infrastructure" of education. Many countries have considered AI Literacy (the ability to understand and apply artificial intelligence) as a fundamental skill, on par with reading, writing and calculating.

Keeping up with this trend, in Vietnam, AI is gradually leaving the laboratory to become a tool to support personalized learning, helping teachers build smart classrooms and expand opportunities for equal access to knowledge. Therefore, organizing a specialized AI Festival for education not only keeps up with the trend, but also affirms the commitment to preparing the luggage for the generation of digital citizens of Vietnam.

One of the highlights of this year's STEAMese Festival is the AI Summit – the first national-scale forum held, where experts, policymakers, international organizations and technology businesses meet to discuss the role of AI in education.

Within the framework of the event, competitions such as “Youth AI Hackathon” and “AI for SuperTeacher” will encourage students and teachers to come up with AI application initiatives to solve community challenges. Along with that, the AI Awards will honor pioneers in applying AI creativity in teaching and learning.

The vibrant atmosphere of the Festival comes not only from modern technological activities, but also from the spirit of experiential education that is ignited in every space.

The entire campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology will be transformed into an “open laboratory” where students can directly build and control robots, explore themselves through GenAI-oriented workshops, or leave their mark on the future with Time Capsule and AI Avatar Studio.

There, STEAM is no longer a distant concept in books, but becomes a creative game, an exciting interactive experience - where many people who first touched technology suddenly realized a new passion...

According to the Organizing Committee, registration is open until October 19 with priority given to limited activities such as Robotics Battle Bot Challenge, Hackathon AI for SuperTeacher and career orientation workshop using GenAI.
