Promoting the tradition of "mutual love", creating a source of funding for scholarships, gifts, and support for students in difficult circumstances, in recent school years, Phu Ha 2 Primary School (Phan Rang Ward) has effectively maintained the movement "Raising piggy banks to help the poor". In the 2024 - 2025 school year alone, the whole school saved more than 84 million VND, supporting 202 students in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Khuyen - Principal of Phu Ha 2 Primary School shared: “The movement “Raising piggy banks to help poor friends” launched by the school at the beginning of each school year has received a lot of response from students. This is a completely voluntary activity, depending on the ability of each student. On the occasion of Lunar New Year and the end of the school year, the school organizes a ceremony for students of all classes to break piggy banks together and collect money to help students in difficult circumstances. The movement not only helps students form a sense of saving early, but also aims to educate them on the spirit of solidarity and sharing with those less fortunate than themselves. In addition to this movement, the school also cares about and does a good job of socialization, mobilizing units and benefactors to give gifts, scholarships, health insurance cards ... to poor students”.

In the spirit of sharing, Phuoc Huu Commune Youth Union has issued a Plan to organize "Support to go to school" activities for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Mr. Vo Duc Linh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Secretary of Phuoc Huu Commune Youth Union said: "The commune Youth Union will sponsor a student of class 9/3, Huynh Phuoc Secondary School, who has difficult circumstances and has made great progress in his studies since the beginning of the 2025 - 2026 school year until he completes the 12th grade program. In addition, the youth unions and teams under the commune Youth Union will coordinate to review and make a list of similar cases to advise the Party Committee to organize support and assistance activities, in many forms such as: Mobilizing and donating textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, bicycles...; mobilizing benefactors and businesses inside and outside the locality to sponsor, award scholarships or give gifts periodically. Each youth union and team has at least 1 practical activity, helping at least 15 students in the school year".

Localities have many activities to mobilize resources for the work of promoting education and talents. In mid-September 2025, the People's Committee of Anh Dung commune organized a ceremony to launch the Cross-Country Festival to raise funds for scholarships "For the future of children and green for the earth". Thereby, nearly 70 million VND was mobilized to contribute to the scholarship fund to support students in difficult circumstances. At the end of August 2025, the People's Committee of Ninh Phuoc commune organized a ceremony to launch the Running Festival "Raising funds for scholarships to support poor but studious students" in 2025. At the festival, the Ninh Phuoc Community Development Project (Mekong Plus) sponsored scholarships worth 140.6 million VND, contributing to helping students in difficult circumstances in the commune go to school.

Community joins hands and contributes

Mr. Tran Quang Man - Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education said that in recent years, the movement to promote education and talents in the province has received the cooperation and contribution of all levels of associations for promotion of education and many agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province. Many units and individuals are always enthusiastic, dedicated, and have long-term ties with the work of promoting education and talents, with many good models and creative ways to build and develop funds for this work. Many places not only organize periodic support giving sessions, but also accompany long-term with those in especially difficult circumstances, helping them have the opportunity to go to school.

From the end of 2024 to now, the provincial Association for Promotion of Education at all levels and units under the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education have awarded more than 37,000 scholarships and prizes with a total value of nearly 9.7 billion VND to students with excellent achievements and those who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. "Hopefully, in the coming time, the movement to promote education and talents in the province will continue to receive the attention and close direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the companionship and cooperation of the social community. From there, not only material support, but also encouragement and motivation for students to overcome difficulties and move towards a bright future," Mr. Tran Quang Man shared.
