More than 211,000 students and over 20,000 teachers and staff at 648 educational institutions in Lang Son are preparing to enter the new school year; ready to return to school at least 1 week before the opening day, and for grade 1 students, they will return to school at least 2 weeks before the opening day.

Lang Son Department of Education and Training has issued a document directing and guiding schools to prepare the necessary conditions to ensure the best implementation of the new school year's tasks. In particular, special attention is paid to reviewing staff conditions, advising on flexible implementation, arranging and assigning teachers to ensure sufficient quantity and uniform structure (especially in some specific subjects such as English, Information Technology, Music, Fine Arts).

Attention to each student's learning conditions

For Loc Binh High School (Lang Son province), in the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 1,480 students, arranged into 36 classes. Because there are only 26 classrooms, to implement 2 sessions/day, the school has planned to teach all day on Saturday, organize some special educational activities in the form of integrating the whole grade; at the same time, coordinate with the classrooms of Loc Binh Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center located near the school when necessary.

Currently, 100% of textbooks for students have been ensured; guidance, counseling and selection of subject combinations for students have been completed, meeting over 90% of the first wish.

Ms. Vi Thi Kim Thu, Principal of Loc Binh High School, said: “The school pays special attention to the students’ readiness to go to class. We visited the families of 6 students who were at risk of dropping out of school due to difficult circumstances, gave them financial support as well as textbooks and school supplies to encourage them to go to class with peace of mind. In addition, we also organized counseling and provided necessary skills guidance for students who had to stay away from home.”

Khuat Xa 1 Primary School (Khuat Xa, Lang Son) prepares textbooks and ensures learning conditions for students.

For Khuat Xa 1 Primary School (Khuat Xa, Lang Son), this school year, in addition to 190 students at the main school, there are also 26 students studying in combined classes at 2 satellite schools. With 28 teachers, the arrangement of classroom teachers and subject teachers at the satellite schools has been completed. The school has requested to assign more IT teachers to ensure the implementation of the educational program as planned.

Ms. Vuong Thi Lien, Principal of Khuat Xa 1 Primary School, said: Up to this point, all conditions are ready. The school has communicated to parents to coordinate with families to help children prepare textbooks, calculate means of transport and plans for safe travel to school. Many parents have come directly to the school to support teachers in cleaning classrooms, desks, and classrooms for the new school year.
