Da Nang City leaders work with Truong Hai Group Corporation

DNO - On the afternoon of July 15, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh had a working session with Truong Hai Group Corporation (THACO) and related member units; and also inspected the company's factories.

Reporting to the city leaders, THACO representative said that THACO is currently implementing 10 key projects in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. Of which, the Automotive Mechanical Industrial Park Project currently has a total area of ​​243 hectares, investment capital of 983 billion VND with the type of mechanical and automotive industrial park, currently exploiting 188.75 hectares, occupancy rate of about 80%, with more than 50 investors in operation. With the remaining area, THACO is coordinating with the locality to carry out site clearance and invest in factories...

The 115-hectare, 1,433-billion-VND expanded automobile mechanical industrial park project is awaiting legal procedures to be implemented on August 1, 2025. The THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park project has a scale of 451 hectares, is implementing site clearance, constructing a number of roads, and handing over the site in October 2025.

Other projects that THACO is implementing include: Chu Lai Urban Area Project with a scale of more than 188 hectares. After the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks completes the procedures for selecting investors, THACO will participate in bidding to select investors according to regulations. Port Industrial Park and Port Logistics Project (143 hectares); THACO - Chu Lai Industrial Park Project (451 hectares); Tam Hoa - Tam Tien Urban Residential, Service and Tourism Area Project (phase 2, more than 1,000 hectares) ... are being implemented.

Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Ho Ky Minh, said that businesses in the city need to focus on implementing projects on electronic components production, semiconductor chip production, and prioritize attracting investors to these fields in industrial parks. In the near future, the city will organize 3 specialized events on semiconductors, block chain and finance, attracting many experts to exchange and share technology solutions, thereby creating connections and inviting investors to learn and attract them to industrial parks. The city will organize more in-depth working sessions to find ways to overcome difficulties, how to both develop THACO - Truong Hai in Chu Lai and create momentum for the development of industrial parks in the North.
