Since September 28, the two communes of That Khe and Na Sam have had moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing heavy rain. Heavy rain has caused flooding and landslides in some areas of the two communes.
Specifically, in That Khe commune, by the morning of September 30, 25 hectares of trees and crops were flooded; 97 households had their houses flooded; 4 traffic routes were flooded and had landslides...
As of the morning of September 30, 29 houses in Na Sam commune were flooded, had landslides, and had their roofs blown off; 50 hectares of rice and corn were flooded; several bridges and tunnels were flooded, and 7 roads were eroded...
Faced with the complicated developments of floods and rains, relevant authorities and sectors have synchronously deployed solutions to proactively respond. Immediately after the damage caused by floods and rains, relevant forces and units were quickly present at the scene to focus on handling and initial recovery. During the inspection, the provincial working delegation inspected a number of vulnerable, flooded and landslide-prone points in That Khe and Na Sam communes.
