On the afternoon of February 6, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and extended New Year greetings to the Central Office 2 of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Most Venerable Thich Thien Nhon, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, at Quoc An Khai Tuong Pagoda, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.

On behalf of the delegation, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited and sent his best wishes to Venerable Thich Thien Nhon. Informing about some of the socio -economic results achieved by Ho Chi Minh City in 2023, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai said that the results achieved by the city were thanks to the efforts and consensus of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, including the contributions of Buddhists and religious dignitaries. He hoped that Venerable Thich Thien Nhon and other monks, nuns and Buddhists would continue to support, accompany and join hands to improve people's lives and build and develop Ho Chi Minh City.

Venerable Thich Thien Nhon expressed his joy at the results that Ho Chi Minh City achieved in 2023, thanking the city for its attention and support to help the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha complete its activities in Ho Chi Minh City and several other localities.
