General Secretary To Lam asked Marvell to increase investment and develop the semiconductor industry in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of October 1, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam received Mr. Sandeep Bharathi, Chairman of Marvell Global Group (USA).

At the meeting, General Secretary To Lam welcomed the visit to Vietnam by the Chairman of Marvell Global Group on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Vietnam-US relations and the second year of implementing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the investment and business results of Marvell Group in Vietnam in recent years, making practical contributions to the development of Vietnam and the Vietnam-US relationship. The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam considers the United States one of its most important partners, and hopes that the bilateral relationship will maintain a positive, extensive, and effective development momentum for the benefit of the people and businesses of the two countries.

General Secretary To Lam said that Vietnam is making efforts to continue reforming its institutions and perfecting policies and laws to facilitate investment and business activities of domestic and foreign enterprises...; at the same time, he expressed his joy that many large corporations, including Marvell Group, continue to increase investment and expand business in Vietnam. General Secretary To Lam outlined a number of priorities for Marvell Group to increase investment in Vietnam, including supporting Vietnam in building data centers, developing the semiconductor industry and training human resources.

Mr. Sandeep Bharathi expressed his honor and sincere thanks to General Secretary To Lam for taking the time to receive the delegation, and shared the business results and development of Marvell Group in Vietnam over the past 10 years. Mr. Sandeep Bharathi thanked and appreciated the vision of Vietnamese leaders for the development of science and technology; agreed with the directions of General Secretary To Lam and affirmed that Marvell Group will continue to accompany Vietnam in realizing its development goals in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

Mr. Sandeep Bharathi expressed his desire to deepen and further effectively strengthen partnerships with ministries, branches, localities and universities in Vietnam, to promote the development of the semiconductor ecosystem and train human resources so that Vietnam can become an important link in the global ecosystem of Marvell Group.
