Leaders of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee attended the reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , representatives of central ministries, departments and branches, representatives of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, and foreign representative agencies in Vietnam. On the side of Lang Son province, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs attended and congratulated.

In his opening speech at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Vietnam Ri Sung Guk recalled the significance of the founding day of the DPRK and its outstanding achievements such as the renewal of state and social life, the construction of modern local industrial factories, and the continuous improvement of people's lives. The Ambassador congratulated the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and wished Vietnam success in implementing the 13th Resolution of the Party, towards the 14th Congress; at the same time, he affirmed that the relationship between the two countries is constantly being upgraded and developed, pledging to actively make efforts to promote and develop the traditional friendship and cooperation.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Government, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu congratulated the important achievements that North Korea has made in building and developing the country, improving people's lives. 2025 is the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and North Korea and is identified as the "Vietnam - North Korea Friendship Year", Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu affirmed that the Government and People of Vietnam always attach importance to and wish to promote the development of the traditional friendship between the two countries, believing that the two sides will continue to achieve great and sustainable achievements with many good prospects.
