Establishing 2 working groups for site clearance for the North-South high-speed railway project

Accordingly, Working Group No. 1 is headed by the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, in charge of the Thu Bon River area north to the city boundary. The deputy heads include representatives of the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang, and the City Land Fund Development Center.

Working Group No. 2 is headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh , in charge of the Thu Bon River area south to the city boundary. Deputy heads include representatives of the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Quang Nam Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, and the City Land Fund Development Center.

The two working groups are responsible for assisting the City People's Committee in organizing and implementing compensation, support, and resettlement work, ensuring the progress of site handover according to the provisions of Resolution No. 172/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and guiding documents of the Government, ministries, and central branches.

During the implementation process, the team leader and deputy team leaders have the right to decide or propose contents related to compensation and site clearance; proactively handle and resolve difficulties and problems that arise. Issues beyond the authority will be summarized and reported to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for consideration and decision.

The Department of Construction is the standing agency, helping the working group implement approved programs and plans.
