Match schedule of CAHN Club and Nam Dinh Club
Hanoi Police Club (CAHN Club) and Nam Dinh Club will play their opening match of AFC Champions League 2 this week. According to the schedule, Nam Dinh Club will host Ratchaburi (Thailand) on September 17 at Thien Truong Stadium, while CAHN Club will meet Beijing Goan (China) on September 18 away.
Both matches take place at a convenient time: 19:15, convenient for the audience to watch. The C2 Asian Cup playground is expected to be the place where two Vietnamese representatives will simultaneously take off, with large investments in recent times.

Nam Dinh FC has been recruiting a lot of both domestic and foreign players. Coach Vu Hong Viet currently has 11 foreign players, including many high-class names such as Kyle Hudlin (2.06 m tall, used to play for Huddersfield Town in England), Caique (former U.20 Brazil goalkeeper), besides the pillars who affirmed their class last season such as Caio Cesar (typical V-League squad), Romulo da Silva, Marlos Brenner, Lucas Alves.
Not to mention, Nam Dinh Club also has a quality domestic star squad such as Nguyen Van Vi, Ly Cong Hoang Anh, Tran Nguyen Manh... and overseas Vietnamese Kevin Pham Ba.
With a strong squad in all three lines, Nam Dinh FC promises to have a complete performance when facing Ratchaburi at Thien Truong Stadium. Ratchaburi only ranked fourth in the Thai League last season, 18 points behind champions Buriram United. The Thai team is not a big name.
If playing at their best, Nam Dinh Club is capable of taking all 3 points in the match at Thien Truong at 7:15 p.m. on September 17.
Last season, Nam Dinh FC was also in the same group as a Thai team in AFC Champions League 2, Bangkok United. Coach Vu Hong Viet's team drew 0-0 in the first leg at home, lost 2-3 in the second leg away, thereby finishing second in the group.
CAHN Club will participate in the AFC Champions League 2 for the first time in history. As the reigning National Cup champions, coach Alexandre Polking and his team will start their journey with a visit to Beijing Goan, the team that finished fourth in the China Super League last season with 56 points after 30 matches.

Beijing Goan used to be a regular visitor of AFC Champions League Elite (Asian Cup C1) with 10 appearances from 2018 to 2021, before falling to AFC Champions League 2 this season. The Chinese representative has a lot of experience in Asian tournaments, currently owns 6 foreign players in the squad.
The match in China at 7:15 p.m. on September 18 will be a "heavyweight" test of the true capacity of CAHN Club in the Asian Cup C2 this season.
