The final match day (July 20) will feature the following matches: Vietnam - Philippines (4:00 p.m.) and Indonesia - Thailand (7:00 p.m.).

The first ranking criteria will be the number of wins and losses. If they are equal, the second criterion will be considered, which is points. At this point, Indonesia is the team with the most advantages to win the second round.

If they beat Thailand by any score, they will top the group with a record of 4 wins and 0 losses. In case of loss, Indonesia still has many advantages. Thailand must win 3-0 or 3-1 to reach 9 points to be crowned champions. In short, Indonesia only needs to win at least 2 sets against Thailand to be crowned champions.

As for the Vietnamese men’s volleyball team, they must beat the Philippines at all costs. A loss will see coach Tran Dinh Tien’s team drop to fourth place and leave empty-handed.

The chance of Vietnam winning the championship is almost gone. But in case they win against the Philippines and Thailand lose to Indonesia, they have a chance to climb to second place and win the silver medal.
