Mr. Vu Dinh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, said that Kiep Bac Temple is a famous temple worshiping Saint Tran.

The sacred temple exudes solemnity and grandeur, as in the past when Hung Dao Vuong led the army and people to fight the enemy and stationed troops at Van Kiep.

Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival is held on the 15th - 20th of the 8th lunar month every year, the death anniversary of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.

The festival commemorates the death anniversary of the national hero and shows gratitude for his contributions in protecting the country and repelling the Yuan-Mongol invaders three times.

The Saint-worshiping performance festival was implemented by the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic management board in consultation with the People's Committee of Hai Duong province (formerly) in the project "Upgrading the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in the period 2006-2010".

After the Project ended, from 2010 until now, we have organized this activity annually during the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival.
