Ukrainian brigade hit by precise Russian airstrike, many soldiers killed

On November 17, the AVP website reported that in the Avdeevsky direction, the Russian army achieved significant success, taking control of Stepovoye and expanding their control zone on the northern flank of the city.

Near Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region, Russian anti-aircraft artillery systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet. In addition, Russian forces also attacked the radar of the S-300 air defense system and control points of the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the Volchansk area, Kharkov region, an ammunition depot of the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was also destroyed by the Russian army.

In the Kupyansk direction, no significant progress was recorded, but the Russians gained an opportunity. In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the change was also insignificant.

Earlier, on November 15, a Ukrainian MP posted a video on social media and said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again suffered heavy losses due to Russia's precision attack on Ukrainian soldiers in the village of Dmitrovo, Zaporozhie region.

During its daily briefing, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the checkpoints of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Dimitrovo. Later, on November 16, Russian military sources shared footage of the Russian precision strike.

According to LostArmor, based on open sources, the total number of Ukrainian officers killed since February 2022 has reached 2,736 officers. In the first week of November alone, 33 more officers died. Since November 5, 53 more deaths have been confirmed, including at least one foreigner.
