Impressive Vietnam map puzzle at Hanoi Yoga Festival 2025

On June 15 at Yen So Park (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi), more than 1,000 yoga lovers joined the event to celebrate International Yoga Day June 21 within the framework of the biggest Yoga Festival of the year organized by the Hanoi Yoga Federation.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Diem Huong, Vice President of Vietnam Yoga Federation, Permanent Vice President, General Secretary of Hanoi Yoga Federation, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized: "Hanoi Yoga Federation always promotes the spirit and enthusiasm for yoga, creating a healthy and useful playground, to connect clubs and yoga lovers in the capital".

With the theme of 2025: “Yoga for Peace and Community Health”, the program conveys a humane message in the context of a world full of instability. Through a series of activities such as Yoga sacred fire ritual, Yoga protocol performance, artistic yoga performance, and physical games, the event not only contributes to promoting the health benefits of Yoga, but also spreads the values ​​of peace and humanity to the community.

Ms. Monica Sharma, Embassy of the Republic of India in Vietnam shared: “Yoga is a gift from India to the world . We are moved to see thousands of Vietnamese people loving and practicing this sport, especially the Vietnam map puzzle, showing mutual respect and friendship between the two nations”.

The atmosphere at Yen So Park was filled with energy and emotion. The elderly, children, women, men… from all districts of Hanoi and many provinces and cities were present from early morning, in neat uniform, in harmony with each yoga movement of breathing - stretching - holding - releasing.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay, 72 years old, from Tien Phuong Yoga Club (Chuong My district, Hanoi) said: “The first day of practicing yoga, I felt pain, but the more I practiced, the more flexible and stronger my body became, and my bones and joints improved significantly. I have been practicing regularly for 2 years now, and I feel more excited and cheerful. Whether old or young, everyone should participate in this sport.”

The Organizing Committee representative said that following the success of this Festival, the 2nd Hanoi Open Yoga Club Championship will be held from July 11-13, 2025, creating more playgrounds for exchange and learning between units and yoga practitioners in the whole region.

The most impressive highlight of the event was the formation of a map of Vietnam by nearly 1,000 people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, creating a symbolic scene, expressing the spirit of solidarity, national pride and cultural fusion between Vietnam and India through yoga, an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
