Bringing love to the border commune of Quang Ngai

DNO - The Youth Union of Da Nang College of Tourism has just coordinated with the Vietnamese Lotus Club to organize a Green Summer volunteer campaign called "Summer Lotus 2025" in the border commune of Dak Plo (Quang Ngai province).

Mr. Duong Phu Khai Tri - Secretary of the Youth Union of Da Nang College of Tourism said that the volunteer campaign lasted from July 25 to 27, attracting nearly 50 volunteers to participate.

At the program, the delegation of Danang College of Tourism, Sen Viet Club and benefactors presented 10 bicycles, 150 sets of school supplies, and 160 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties.

At the commune's kindergarten and primary school, the delegation donated 2 water purifiers and a "Free Library" including 3 bookshelves, 1,000 books and stories; and supported cement to upgrade the primary school yard.

The program also gave 60 gifts of necessities to poor households; 100 national flags to implement the "Border Flag Line" and 35 solar lights to implement lighting projects in the commune.

The total cost of the program is more than 73 million VND, contributed by staff, lecturers, students of universities in the city and benefactors.
