Currently, SOS Children's Village Da Nang is caring for and raising 118 children; of which 69 children are raised in 10 family homes, 12 boys at the Youth Hostel and 37 young people are studying outside and are semi-independent.

The Center for Supporting Agent Orange Victims and Disadvantaged Children in Da Nang City (Facility 2) is currently nurturing, caring for, and educating more than 40 children affected by Agent Orange and disadvantaged children. The children are cared for, nurtured, rehabilitated, and given physical therapy; cultural education, vocational training, and participation in recreational activities help them gradually recover physically and mentally, and soon reintegrate into the community.

In the joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh presented meaningful gifts and wished the children at the SOS Children's Village and the Center a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival. At the same time, he hoped that the teachers, officers and staff of the SOS Children's Village and the Center would continue to promote their roles, care for and support the children to develop comprehensively, integrate into the community and make positive contributions to society.
The city will pay attention and create more practical conditions to improve the operational efficiency of the units; making an important contribution to ensuring social security work in the city.
