Free Ngoa Van cable car tickets to celebrate the 716th anniversary of Buddha's Nirvana

Tourists will be given free cable car tickets to Ngoa Van on the occasion of the 716th anniversary of the Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong's Nirvana.

This information was announced in a press release by the Ngoa Van Yen Tu Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, towards the 716th anniversary of the day King Tran Nhan Tong entered Nirvana and towards the 766th anniversary of the Buddha King's birthday on the 11th day of the 11th lunar month (1258-2024), implementing incentive packages to support people, Buddhists and pilgrims, the Ngoa Van cable car will be free of charge for 2 ways on November 30 and December 1.

The remaining days from December 2 to January 28, 2025, the round-trip cable car ticket price for Ngoa Van will be discounted by 50%. The cable car operates from 6:00 to 18:00 daily.

On this occasion, many events will also take place at Ngoa Van such as: Incense offering ceremony to Buddha at the main hall of Trung Pagoda, Thuong Pagoda and Buddha Hoang tower; exhibition of art photos "Buddhism in life".

The series of events aims to commemorate the great achievements and career of Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong, to raise awareness among the people, especially the young generation, about the meaningful role and values that need to be preserved and promoted of the Tran Dynasty National Special Relic Site in Dong Trieu.
