MobiFone and SOVICO cooperate to build a multi-utility technology ecosystem

(Dan Tri) - On September 29, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation and SOVICO Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation, opening the journey to create a multi-utility technology and service ecosystem, serving the development of the country, businesses and people.

Attending the signing ceremony were Dr. Major General Truong Son Lam - Chairman of MobiFone Board of Members; Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, General Director of SOVICO Group; and senior leaders of both sides.

According to the agreement, MobiFone and SOVICO prioritize exploiting each other's strengths in the fields of telecommunications, technology, finance - banking, insurance, aviation, etc. The focus is on deploying 5G for smart cities, public areas, train stations, airports, integrating broadcasting station infrastructure, along with IoT solutions, cameras and smart connections.

The two sides also cooperate in cross-selling products and services, developing digital transformation solutions for businesses, digital data, expanding digital financial services, developing smart payment systems and co-creating content.

On this occasion, leaders of the two sides performed the ceremony of pressing the button to launch the Skyfi service - an outstanding cooperation product, and visited the booths displaying new technologies: SD-WAN, MobiFone Scoring, Skyfi and SOVICO's digital solutions.

Speaking at the event, Major General Truong Son Lam - Chairman of MobiFone Board of Directors - affirmed: "The combination between SOVICO and MobiFone will create a synergy between telecommunications infrastructure - digital technology and financial - investment - service potential, bringing practical benefits to both sides.

This is not only a cooperation event, but also an important milestone, demonstrating the determination between the units under the Ministry of Public Security and private economic groups in the spirit of the direction of the Politburo and the Government on accompanying the development of the private economy, strengthening cooperation and promoting the strength of public-private linkages in the fields of telecommunications, technology and investment. From there, the two units contribute to the successful implementation of the goal of national digital transformation and sustainable socio-economic development."
