Tomorrow's plan will be rice vermicelli with pork intestines, shrimp and squid pancakes, herring rolls, snacks made from “squid teeth” (crispy fried, grilled with satay, stir-fried with garlic and chili) and indispensable banh can eaten with braised fish, meatballs, boiled eggs…

As for Mr. Quoc Bao, in Ho Chi Minh City, he still occasionally drives his family straight to Mui Ne just to "satisfy" the rustic dishes of the famous coastal destination in Lam Dong province. Thanks to the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway, travel time has been significantly shortened, so his family often chooses to go and return in a day.

On such occasions, members of Mr. Quoc Bao's family gather to enjoy many unique dishes such as vermicelli with mai fish (served with herbs, shredded banana blossom, crushed grilled sesame rice paper), pandan porridge with braised fish and boiled banana blossom. Next is banh goi (similar to banh it on the outside, but with fillings including pork, scallions, quail eggs), salty banh beo (with shrimp and meat sauce, pork rinds, steamed peeled and mashed green beans)... However, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City, everyone wants to add a bowl of Quang noodles with duck thighs with its distinctive flavor and unmistakable yellow noodles.

It is said that the diverse cuisine, including the rustic dishes of the blue sea of ​​Lam Dong, also contributes to creating attractiveness, attracting tourists to come back to enjoy. Returning to Minh Thu’s trip to Phan Thiet, the young girl did not hesitate to praise the rustic dishes she enjoyed, but still regretted not having “eaten” many new dishes that the locals introduced. Therefore, Minh Thu hopes that next time she will be able to participate in the “Food tour” type to experience and learn how to prepare each dish. Thereby, she can prepare tools and ingredients, and cook a few simple dishes herself in a place more than half a world away from Vietnam, whenever she misses her homeland…
