In Sa Pa ward, heavy rains and floods caused water to overflow into the houses of some households in Cau May 3, Ham Rong 1, and Sa Pa 1 residential areas; 3 households in dangerous landslide areas had to be urgently evacuated.
Immediately after the flood, the local government mobilized forces with the ward police to move 3 households out of the danger zone and organized support for families to clear mud and stabilize their lives.

As for Mr. Giang A Dinh's household (with 4 members), at Ham Rong 1 group, Sa Pa ward, located in a landslide area and at risk of losing their home, the local government has arranged temporary accommodation in another location.

In Ngu Chi Son commune, heavy rain caused flooding in Sa Chai village, causing some areas to be locally flooded.
The flood overflowed the sturgeon and salmon ponds of two households, with initial damage estimated at over 500 kg of fish.
In Coc San commune and Lao Cai ward, heavy floods on Ngoi Dum stream submerged a section of road at Km135, National Highway 4D, causing traffic congestion for many hours.

Also on the morning of July 12, in Trinh Tuong commune, there was localized heavy rain, causing floodwater from upstream to flow down, carrying a lot of soil and rocks down to the central fields of the commune, affecting many areas of crops.
Currently, localities are reviewing dangerous areas to find solutions to ensure people's safety; mobilizing militia, police, and union members to support affected households in moving people and property to safety, and helping people clean their houses to stabilize their lives.
Lao Cai Provincial Road Maintenance Management Board has coordinated with the traffic police force to deploy measures to ensure traffic safety in the province; especially on National Highway 4D, Provincial Roads 152, 156 and 154.
