NAM A BANK announces audited 2024 financial report

(Dan Tri) - On March 6, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (code: NAB) announced its independently audited financial report for 2024.

Specifically, according to the 2024 consolidated audited financial report, Nam A Bank's total assets reached more than VND 245,000 billion, an increase of nearly 16.8% compared to the end of 2023. Credit activities reached nearly VND 168,000 billion, an increase of 18.34% compared to the beginning of the year. Capital mobilization reached nearly VND 179,000 billion, an increase of more than 9% compared to the end of 2023. Nam A Bank's pre-tax profit in 2024 reached VND 4,545 billion (equivalent to an increase of 37.6% compared to 2023).

The above results have contributed to helping Nam A Bank maintain a stable growth rate in recent years. In particular , ROE continues to maintain a level above 20%, in the high group, while ROA reaches 1.5%, showing that the bank maintains the quality of profitable operations. NIM in 2024 reaches 3.5%, higher than the NIM of 3.3% in 2023.

Asset quality is gradually improving, as group 2 debt has decreased from VND 5,396 billion (end of 2023) to VND 2,470 billion (end of 2024), while the bad debt ratio (from group 3 to group 5) at the end of 2024 remains at 2.33%.

The bank's operating expenses to total operating income (CIR) in 2024 will decrease to 44% (down 1.7% compared to 2023), the lowest level in many years. The bank also aims to maintain this ratio at around 40% in the coming years while still pursuing the strategic direction of continuing to expand its scale and network according to the roadmap.

In addition, most recently on February 20, Moody's credit rating agency announced its credit rating for Nam A Bank, continuing to maintain the stable outlook rating . Nam A Bank was also upgraded 1 level in the capital strength index group thanks to the increase in charter capital to more than 25%.
