Male patient jumped from 10th floor of hospital to the ground and died

On May 16, Bac Giang City Police (Bac Giang) are verifying the case of a man falling from the 10th floor of a hospital to the ground and dying.

At about 5:30 a.m. the same day, Bac Giang City Police received a report from Bac Giang Provincial General Hospital about the discovery of Mr. DMD (71 years old, residing in Chu Dien commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province) dead in the hallway behind the 15-story building of Bac Giang Provincial General Hospital.

Mr. D. is a patient being treated for lung cancer (late stage) at the Respiratory Department of this hospital.

The Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang City Police coordinated with the Criminal Techniques Department of the Provincial Police to organize a crime scene investigation and autopsy.

Initially determined, at about 4:20 am, Mr. D. went out to the back balcony of the 10th floor of the 15-story building, then jumped down to the 1st floor balcony, leading to his death.

Bac Giang City Police are continuing to verify and clarify.
