In particular, it focuses on collecting information on job seekers and vacant jobs to serve the labor market forecasting; improving the frequency, professionalism and quality of job transaction activities... to help workers find suitable jobs.

Variety of job positions

To serve the need to expand production, Duy Tan Recycled Plastic Joint Stock Company ( Long An province) continuously posts recruitment information and participates in job fairs to find candidates. Ms. Tran Thi My Ai, HR collaborator of Duy Tan Recycled Plastic Joint Stock Company, said: “Currently, the Company is recruiting 100 general workers, with the positions: production workers, warehouse workers, forklift drivers. Recruitment requirements are workers of working age, diligent, careful, working 12-hour shifts. The average income for the production worker position is about 10 million VND/person/month, with 2 days off/week. Workers are also supported with lunch, side meals, fully participate in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and have bonus regimes for holidays, Tet, funerals, travel... In particular, the Company also supports accommodation of about 4 million VND for workers living far away, exclusively for the first 50 workers to receive work".

Dat Phuong Nam Joint Stock Company (in Tra Noc 1 Industrial Park, Can Tho City) is in need of recruiting 500 unskilled workers. Ms. Lam Thi Cam Van, an employee of Dat Phuong Nam Joint Stock Company, informed: "Working at the Company, unskilled workers will receive free vocational training, lunch support, sign labor contracts and pay social insurance according to regulations. Salary is calculated based on products with a minimum of 6.5 million VND/person/26 working days. At the end of the year, workers will also receive 1 month of average salary."

According to recruitment information from the Can Tho City Employment Service Center, from August 2025 to now, there are over 90 enterprises and units inside and outside the city needing to recruit workers with thousands of vacant positions. Specifically, Minh Phu - Hau Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company needs to recruit 1,000 general workers, Lac Ty II Company Limited needs to recruit 1,000 general workers, Highland Dragon Company Limited needs to recruit 200 workers... Through the connection of the Can Tho City Employment Service Center, many workers have been interviewed and found suitable jobs.

Can Tho City Employment Service Center has just organized a meeting with employers. At the event, 3 businesses participated in recruiting with nearly 560 vacant jobs. With quality targets, benefits and satisfactory income levels, it has created favorable conditions for employees and final year students to find suitable jobs; employees receiving unemployment benefits can soon return to the labor market.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh Hoai in Vi Tan Ward, Can Tho City, said: “I went to work but the job was not suitable. With experience in managing retail channels in supermarkets, I came to the event to meet employers to find a job that suited my strengths. Through the connection of the Can Tho City Public Service Center, I quickly found a suitable job to apply for.”

As a bridge between recruiting businesses and employees, in recent times, the Can Tho City Employment Service Center has implemented many innovative solutions for job consulting and introduction activities. Since the beginning of 2025, the Center has organized 17 days of meetings with employers; coordinated with regional employment service centers to organize 2 online job fairs in the Mekong Delta, Southeast region and neighboring provinces and cities in the first and second quarters of 2025; coordinated to organize 6 job fairs and 12 job consulting points. In addition, the Center has hosted 31 job fairs at weekly Job Cafes, to create a bridge for employees to find jobs.

The center establishes close relationships with businesses, proactively grasps the recruitment needs of businesses inside and outside the city; coordinates research, forecasting and evaluating the labor market situation; maintains the implementation of 3-party agreements between the Center for Employment Services - schools - businesses in job creation for students... In addition, the City Center for Employment Services promotes propaganda work; supports consulting and answers questions of employees through many free information channels: email, social networks Facebook, Zalo, Can Tho Job Information Portal, telephone switchboard...

Through solutions, consulting activities, connecting jobs for employees with businesses at the City Employment Service Center are increasingly effective. From the beginning of 2025 to now, Can Tho City Employment Service Center has provided job consulting, employment policies and vocational training for more than 146,000 people (reaching 78.73% of the yearly plan); introduced domestic and foreign jobs to nearly 14,750 people; supplied domestic labor for more than 1,500 people (reaching 83.96% of the yearly plan); supplied foreign labor for nearly 820 people (exceeding 63.2% of the yearly plan).
