(GLO)- On July 1, according to a survey at a number of businesses, the price of gold bars increased by 800,000-1,100,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices, bringing the price to over 120 million VND/tael.

Specifically, Bao Tin Minh Chau currently lists the two-way buying and selling prices at 118.3-120.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.1 million VND for buying and 800,000 VND for selling.

Similarly, SJC also listed 118.3-120.3 million VND/tael, the difference between buying and selling is 2 million VND. DOJI Group also listed a similar increase in price. Mi Hong listed 119.3 million VND/tael for buying, 1 million VND higher than other businesses.

The price of gold rings also increased significantly, with an average increase of 500,000 VND per tael in buying and 700,000 VND in selling.

Specifically, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed 115-118 million VND/tael for both buying and selling; Mi Hong listed 114.8-116.3 million VND/tael; PNJ listed 113.8-116.3 million VND/tael. DOJI is currently listed at 114.3-116.3 million VND/tael.

World gold prices increased slightly when opening the trading session on June 30 in the US market. On Kitco floor, gold price is listed at 3,281.6 USD/oz, up 8 USD/oz compared to the end of the previous session. Converted according to the foreign exchange rate at Vietcombank on June 30: 1 USD = 26,300 VND, world gold price is equivalent to 103.9 million VND/tael, lower than the selling price of SJC gold of 15.6 million VND/tael at the end of June 30.
