Adding new vitality to the Party

(GLO)- In the 2020 - 2025 term, the work of developing Party members in Gia Lai province achieved many important results, directly contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.

Party committees at all levels have paid attention to developing party members among youth union members, ethnic minorities, religious people, private business owners, etc., thereby adding new vitality to the Party, ensuring inheritance and sustainable development.

Where there are people, there must be core party members.

Along with the leadership in carrying out production and business tasks, Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company is a bright spot in the work of developing party members in enterprises under the Provincial Economic Zone Party Committee. In the 2022 - 2025 term, the Party Cell admitted 15 outstanding people into the Party, bringing the total number of party members to 26 comrades.

Mr. Ha Thuc Duy Sang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company - said: Closely following the Resolution of the Provincial Economic Zone Party Committee, the Party Cell has paid attention to creating a source of elite masses, training and recruiting new Party members, considering this an important political task. "Most of the Party members at the Party Cell are positive factors, leading in all activities, production and business, thanks to which the enterprise maintains stability and develops firmly", Mr. Sang said.

In rural communes and ethnic minority areas, the Party Committee pays great attention to the development of new Party members. In the 2020-2025 term, the Phu Thien Commune Party Committee admitted 212 Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to 1,462; the annual average is 3.1%, exceeding the target set by the Commune Party Committee Resolution. Currently, the Party Committee has 700 ethnic minority Party members (47.8%), 616 female Party members (42.1%), 55 religious Party members (3.76%) and 108 young Party members (7.38%).

Phu Thien Commune Party Secretary Vu Hong Duy emphasized: “We focus on discovering and nurturing outstanding masses from patriotic emulation movements, especially the Youth Union force, outstanding members in associations and organizations; giving priority to admitting female party members, ethnic minorities, and religious people. This helps the Party organization to always be close to the people, close to reality and diverse in structure.”

In the past term, the Chu Se Commune Party Committee admitted 432 new Party members, reaching 100.9% of the target. The new Party members are mostly excellent young people with academic qualifications and aspirations to contribute, contributing to rejuvenating the team and ensuring a solid succession. The Chu Se Commune Party Committee also made its mark by establishing a Party organization in a private enterprise - a testament to the expansion and diversification of Party member development sources.

According to Ms. Rah Lan H'Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Chu Se Commune Party Committee, the key factor in developing party members is still the quality of the source of admission. New party members must mature from practice, be recognized by the collective, and trusted by the people, not just rely on a clean record or participate in Party awareness training classes. In addition, the exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially leaders, is decisive. The exemplary, dedicated, and prestigious role of party members is the most convincing proof, arousing aspirations and urging the masses to voluntarily strive to join the Party's ranks.

In KDang commune, during the last term, 155 people were sent to attend a Party awareness training class, and 105 new party members were admitted, reaching 4% compared to the beginning of the term. Party Secretary Le Thi Hue said: We link the work of developing party members with the emulation movement at the grassroots level, focusing on the role of official party members in guiding and accompanying outstanding people. Thanks to that, the results of admitting party members have both ensured quantity and improved quality.

Adding new vitality to the Party

According to the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the work of developing party members has been focused on leadership and direction by Party Committees at all levels, and many Party Committees and Party organizations have admitted party members every year, increasing both in quantity and quality. Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the entire Provincial Party Committee has admitted 21,572 party members, exceeding the set target by 222 members. To date, the total number of party members in the province has reached 147,054 comrades.

Comrade Mai Viet Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee - assessed: Along with the admission of new party members exceeding the target set by the Provincial Party Congress Resolution, the quality of new party members has been improved, basically meeting the requirements and tasks, ensuring inheritance, development and directly contributing to improving the capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization. Every year, over 92% of party cells successfully complete their tasks; 91% or more of party members successfully complete their tasks.

“Practice shows that diversifying sources of party member development has brought new vitality to grassroots party organizations. In many party cells and grassroots party committees, the participation of young party members, women, ethnic minorities, religious people, etc. has helped the emulation movement in units and localities become more dynamic and creative, contributing positively to the overall development of the province,” Mr. Mai Viet Trung emphasized.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - affirmed: The province has always been consistent in its viewpoint of valuing quality, not chasing quantity in developing Party members. New Party members must have solid political qualities, pure ethics, be trained and tested in practice, have the right motivation to join the Party and have a correct and complete understanding of the Party. Thereby, contributing to ensuring the inheritance, development, and supplementing new vitality for the Party, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that developing Party members is an important task in Party building. Developing new Party members must be associated with building a team of successor cadres, supplementing the Party's vitality, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee continue to direct and guide Party committees and Party cells to focus on developing Party members, especially in rural areas, remote areas, ethnic minority areas, areas with a large number of religious followers, private enterprises, etc.

Along with the development of quantity, the province continues to improve the quality of training and professional training in Party work; strictly implement the process and procedures for admitting Party members, ensuring strictness and compliance with principles.

New party members are not only educated in theory, but also trained in practical production, mass organization work, and social movements.
