(GLO)- In today's trading session (August 15), the domestic gold market recorded a slight decrease compared to yesterday. In particular, gold bars decreased by 200,000 VND in both buying and selling prices.

Today, after reaching a peak of 124.7 million VND/tael, gold bars are being listed by businesses for both buying and selling at a decrease of 200,000 VND. Currently, businesses such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI , Bao Tin Minh Chau are trading at 123.5-124.5 million VND/tael, the difference between the two directions is 1 million VND.

Mi Hong Enterprise still listed the buying price at a higher level than the general level of 123.8 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, Phu Quy listed it at a lower level, only 122.7 million VND; the difference between the two sides is 1.8 million VND.

The domestic gold market in the past 2 weeks has recorded sessions of price increase and stability, with only a few sessions of slight decrease. Compared to the beginning of the month, the domestic gold price has increased by 3.1 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market also followed a downward trend, with some businesses reducing prices by up to 700,000 VND for both directions, currently trading at an average of 116.8-119.8 million VND/tael.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4 p.m. on August 13, Vietnam time, was 3,360.09 USD/ounce, an increase of 13.12 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,450 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 107 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).
