(BGDT) - On the afternoon of August 8, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils Prevention and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security (BVANTQ) of Tan Yen District ( Bac Giang ) organized a National Day for the Whole People to Protect National Security in Phuc Son Commune. Attending were: Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Dinh Duc Canh, Secretary of the Tan Yen District Party Committee.

Phuc Son commune borders Phu Binh district ( Thai Nguyen ) with potential complications in security and order (SOT), especially crimes of property theft, drugs... In recent years, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Phuc Son commune have directed to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security. The commune police force mobilized people, departments, branches and organizations to participate in 5 models: Security surveillance cameras in the area; community reintegration, zalo group to ensure SOT; border security cluster, youth shock team and 11 self-management models to ensure SOT, fire prevention and fighting...

In particular, the effectiveness of the model "Duc - Thanh - Son border security cluster" including Phuc Son commune, Tan Yen district and Tan Duc and Duong Thanh communes, Phu Binh district (Thai Nguyen) has contributed to helping the security and order situation, social safety and order in the border area always be stable.

At the Festival, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan acknowledged and commended the Steering Committee of Tan Yen district and Phuc Son commune for their good, creative and effective ways of doing things in the movement of the whole people to protect national security and order, joining hands to ensure local security and order. At the same time, he highly appreciated the leadership of Party committees and authorities; the active participation of the Fatherland Front at all levels, departments, branches, and organizations, and the positive response of the people to the movement.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan presented Certificates of Merit to typical collectives and individuals implementing the movement.

He suggested that in the coming time, the locality should continue to promote the movement associated with state management of security and order, fighting and preventing crimes and social evils, transforming key and complicated areas in terms of security and order, building residential areas, communes, wards, towns, agencies, enterprises, and educational establishments to meet the standards of "Safe in security and order" and "No drug abuse".

Regularly commend, reward, and promote good people and good deeds, and advanced models in the movement. Pay attention to directing the building, consolidation, and training to improve the effectiveness of specialized forces, and those in charge of building the mass movement to protect national security.

Volleyball competition at the Festival.

Within the framework of the Festival, volleyball and badminton competitions took place, attracting a large number of members, union members and people from all walks of life to participate.

On this occasion, 9 individuals were awarded the "Protecting Homeland Security" Medal by the Minister of Public Security. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the people and cadres of Phuc Son commune for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement. The Director of the Provincial Police Department and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Son commune awarded 2 collectives and 7 individuals.
