In the recent period, many policies, mechanisms and solutions have been issued by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, creating a solid legal basis and an important premise for the work of building and developing culture and people to achieve comprehensive results. At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have always paid attention to and focused on directing and seriously implementing the dissemination, dissemination and propaganda of the Party's resolutions, directives and conclusions on culture to contribute to creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life; regularly conducting inspections, supervisions, interim and final reviews to learn lessons, propose tasks and solutions for implementation in the coming time.

Office culture, standards and codes of conduct of cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing public duties are focused on, awareness of serving the people, organizations and enterprises is gradually raised. Building culture in the economy is focused on organization and implementation. The Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee are determined and resolute in directing and operating; especially improving the investment environment, administrative reform, creating the best conditions for businessmen and enterprises to invest in economic development, thereby making important contributions to the socio-economic development achievements of the province in recent times.

All levels, sectors and localities in the province have thoroughly grasped, propagated, organized the implementation, summarized and concluded the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party, and the directions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people. Many agencies, units and localities have actively and proactively issued policies and creative solutions on building cultural life. Building culture and developing people has become an important content in the activities of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels; linking cultural development with economic and social development, building the political system, and implementing social progress and justice. State management of culture has been increasingly consolidated and strengthened. The fight against wrong views in the field of ideology and culture has been implemented synchronously and effectively.

Thoroughly grasping the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and policies, Ho Chi Minh's thought on culture and building and developing Vietnamese people, along with focusing on socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, ensuring social security, in recent years, Bac Giang province has paid special attention to building and developing Bac Giang culture and people to meet the requirements of the new period.

The material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improved and enhanced. The good traditional values of Vietnamese culture and people continue to be preserved, along with new features in cultural values and ethical standards of Bac Giang people continue to be formed and promoted, civilized and modern. The physical strength, capacity and intelligence of Bac Giang people have developed. Education, training, labor, employment, health, population, family, children and social security are concerned and have many positive changes, some areas are bright spots of the whole country. Human resources are cared for, trained, increased in quantity, diversified in structure, basically meeting the development requirements of the province.

The movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas has many positive changes, many traditional cultural values have been preserved and promoted; the appearance of urban and rural areas of Bac Giang has changed significantly. Civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals has changed positively, backward customs and practices have been gradually eliminated from community life; many new models, good, creative, practical and effective ways of building cultural life have appeared. The system of cultural and sports institutions from the province to the grassroots has received attention and investment and has been gradually improved. Mass cultural, artistic, physical training and sports movements have taken place vigorously, and people's cultural and spiritual life has become increasingly joyful and healthy. The province has successfully organized and hosted many cultural, sports and tourism events and activities at national and international levels, successfully promoting the land, people, history, culture and socio-economic development achievements of Bac Giang to the people in the province, the country and international friends.

The work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage has been focused on, many tangible and intangible cultural heritages have been identified, researched, protected and promoted; ranked and registered by UNESCO, the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Many religious and belief works, historical and cultural relics have been invested in construction, renovation, restoration and embellishment to meet the cultural and religious needs of the people and associated with tourism exploitation and development, contributing to the economic development of the locality.
