In primary schools, we could easily see the eager eyes of children waiting for the opening ceremony when entering grade 1, along with the eyes of parents following their every step. Teachers were also busy preparing for the important day when, for the first time in history, nearly 1.7 million teachers and 30 million students from all educational institutions nationwide would salute the flag and sing the national anthem at the same time, welcoming the new school year.

Teacher Duong Le Hoan, Principal of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School, shared: "Excited, elated and proud, that is the feeling of me personally as well as the school's teaching staff when joining in the bustling atmosphere of this year's special opening day. Right before the new school year, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 71 NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development. The Resolution emphasizes the need to innovate thinking, perfect institutions, increase investment, have specific mechanisms and appropriate remuneration policies for teachers, and at the same time build an open, fair, quality and comprehensive education system. This is a major orientation, creating an important corridor for the country's education in general, and Thanh Hoa education in particular, to reach new heights. With that spirit, teachers and students of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School are determined to materialize the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, promote the tradition of studiousness, affirm the mettle and intelligence of Tran Mai Ninh students with the slogan: "Confident - Responsibility - Integration - Success".

At Quang Tam Primary School, Quang Phu Ward, before the nationwide online opening ceremony and listening to the messages and instructions of General Secretary To Lam , the school organized activities to welcome first graders. To the music of songs welcoming the new school year, many students, teachers and parents were present very early to prepare for the opening ceremony. Although the first graders were still confused when attending the opening ceremony at the new school for the first time, they were more confident with the cheers and encouragement of their seniors and the homeroom teacher.
The school opening day is no longer just a joy for students and teachers, but also a joy for parents, because they place a lot of hope in the school where their children study. Ms. Hoang Thi Hue, a parent of a student at Quang Tam Primary School, shared: “This is the first time sending my child to grade 1 and also the first time witnessing the opening ceremony online on a national scale, my parents and I feel very excited. We always expect and hope that the local government, the education sector and schools will bring the best things, nurturing and nurturing green shoots for the future of the country.”

Putting aside all worries and losses, from early morning, on the road still covered with mud due to the recent storm, parents and students of Yen Nhan commune excitedly flocked to schools to welcome a new school year. Unlike previous years, this year many students came to school with significant losses both materially and spiritually. But overcoming all difficulties and hardships, all students were dressed in new uniforms. The faces of students and parents clearly showed joy, trust and excitement to enter the new school year.
Student Luong Bao Hung, grade 3, Yen Nhan I Primary School shared: “Because the muddy road was very difficult to travel, this morning my grandmother and I went to school very early to attend the opening ceremony with friends and teachers. When I got to school, I was very happy to be cared for and looked after by the teachers.”
Before taking her child to school, Ms. Lo Thi Hiem, in Khong village, Yen Nhan commune, did not forget to advise: "The flood swept away my house, I no longer have a home, but the State still cares for me and the villagers, so when you go to school, you must study hard, listen to your teachers to become a good person." Ms. Hiem's advice to her child on the first day of school moved us. Perhaps this will also be the motivation for her child to overcome all difficulties, excel in studying and training.
Unlike the opening ceremony of previous school years, this year's opening ceremony was a new and very special experience for more than 1,000 students and teachers of Hoang Hoa Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center (GDNN-GDTX). All activities on the opening day were directed towards the LED screen placed right in the center of the school yard, connected online to the general opening ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education and Training at the Hanoi end. When the majestic sound of the National Anthem rang out, joyful, eager eyes watched attentively and sang together to express national pride.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a teacher at Hoang Hoa Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center - who has witnessed 25 opening ceremonies at this school, emotionally shared: "We have never attended an opening ceremony that is connected to an important event in the capital Hanoi like this. Students and teachers together perform the flag-raising ceremony, sing the National Anthem, listen to the opening drum, listen to the new school year greetings on television, each person has their own feelings, but in general, they still feel proud to know that they are joining the "great flow" of education in our country."
The opening atmosphere at Hoang Hoa Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center or other educational institutions in the province is more meaningful with the messages conveyed from the "opening screen". All of this creates a special connection, the unity between the Central and local levels, between tradition and modernity. In that moment, the geographical distance seems to be erased, leaving only the love between teachers and students, friendship and trust, the aspiration to excel in studying and training for a brighter tomorrow.
This year's opening ceremony is quite special and unprecedented - this will be an unforgettable memory for both teachers and students across the country. After the opening ceremony, schools and students will start the new school year with new confidence and spirit, along with many difficulties and challenges to face. However, with the attention of authorities at all levels, functional agencies, the will to strive of each cadre, teacher, student and the consensus of the people, we firmly believe that the province's "human cultivation" career will continue to "harvest" more "sweet fruits", meeting the need to improve the quality of human resources in the New Era - the Era of national development.
