Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung - Chairman of NAPAS said: One of the major barriers to people's card payments is that the payment acceptance network is not yet widespread. POS machines currently only appear in large stores, supermarkets or chain business models, so they are not really convenient for consumers.
As a pioneer in payment technology solutions, NAPAS has come up with a solution by deploying a digital solution for card payment acceptance devices - SoftPOS. Accordingly, businesses can take advantage of their own smartphones running the Android operating system to become traditional POS devices.
With outstanding advantages, SoftPOS solution helps businesses save investment costs, while optimizing business operations because there is no need to buy or rent POS equipment. Therefore, SoftPOS is especially suitable for small retail stores, where investment costs are a significant barrier.
Currently, NAPAS is cooperating with 6 banks including MB, VIB, Agribank , Techcombank, HDBank and Nam A Bank to deploy SoftPOS solution to business units, contributing to expanding the payment acceptance network, promoting cashless payment habits.
