On the evening of September 3, the Huynh Long Traditional Opera Troupe organized the program "Paying tribute to the profession - Remembering the late artist and playwright Bach Mai" (General Director: Meritorious Artist Huu Quoc) touching the emotions of the majority of the audience at Hong Lien Theater (Cultural Center of District 6, Ho Chi Minh City).

Many people who love traditional opera have their own reasons, because one must possess many elements to be able to handle a role such as: knowing the lyrics, dialogue; dancing; martial arts; following the rules of performance; applying makeup - costumes, and as comedian Hoai Linh confided in the words of the performance (he transformed quite well into the role of Ngu Tu Tu - PV), "wearing the Ngu Tu Tu costume already makes you feel heavy...

And that was just a sincere confession from a comedian who was "reckless" enough to dare to climb onto the stage of a traditional opera to transform into the character of an old general.

The audience praised the spirit of respecting teachers of Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen, Meritorious Artist Thoai My, Artist Ngan Tuan... when they, along with the new generation of young actors who joined the troupe under the leadership of artist Binh Tinh, gathered on the stage of Hong Lien theater (District 6 Cultural Center) to pay tribute to their teachers.
