The art of beeswax painting of the Mong people
In Vietnam, the Mong people are a large ethnic group living in the Northwest region. With a long-standing farming lifestyle, the Mong people have formed a number of traditional occupations such as: fabric dyeing, weaving, brocade embroidery... In particular, on traditional costumes, the patterns are meticulously embroidered by Mong women with traditional colors. In particular, the characters formed from beeswax drawings on fabric are an artistic world in the spiritual and cultural life of the Mong people.
