Suspect of stabbing drinking buddy to death turns himself in

On May 16, the Binh Duong Police Department detained Nguyen Van Vinh (45 years old, residing in Bac Giang ) for investigation in connection with the murder case in Binh Hoa Ward (Thuan An City, Binh Duong).

According to initial investigation, on May 13, Nguyen Van Vinh and Nguyen Van Giang (45 years old, living in Thanh Hoa ) organized a drinking party with some other people in a rented room in Dong An 3 Quarter (Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City).

Suspect Nguyen Van Vinh surrendered

While drinking, Vinh and Giang had a conflict and challenged each other, leading to a fight.

Then, Vinh took a knife from the trunk of his motorbike near the rented room and stabbed Giang, knocking him out on the spot, then left the scene.

Mr. Giang was taken to the hospital by people in the boarding house for emergency treatment, but his injuries were too severe and he later died.

After the victim died, Vinh was persuaded to go to the police station to surrender.
