A man in Ho Chi Minh City won 344 billion VND in Vietlott: Seeing the matching numbers in the result made me tremble.

Vietlott announced that on July 22, the company awarded Jackpot 1 of Power 6/55 lottery drawing 01215 worth more than 344 billion VND to Mr. NP. This is the lucky player who won the biggest lottery prize ever of Vietlott in particular and in Vietnam in general.

The lucky lottery ticket was issued at a Vietlott point of sale in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Vietlott, previously, in the drawing 01215 of Power 6/55 lottery, Vietlott determined that one person won Jackpot 1 with a prize value of 344,987,346,900 VND.

Through checking the lottery business data system and the attached personal records, Vietlott determined that there was a winning player, Mr. NP from Ho Chi Minh City. The lucky ticket was issued at a local point of sale.

NP, who is living and doing business freely in Ho Chi Minh City, shared that he has a habit of buying lottery tickets and leaving them in the trunk of his car until the next day to compare the numbers.

"On the evening of July 12, I saw information that someone had won the prize but didn't pay attention to compare the tickets. The next morning, when Vietlott announced that someone had won the prize in Ho Chi Minh City, I took out my ticket to compare.

Seeing the numbers on the ticket match the results, at first I felt scared, then a feeling that is truly indescribable.

That afternoon, I couldn't eat. In the evening, after I calmed down and waited for my wife to finish eating, I told her the news," said Mr. NP.

Mr. NP's wife said that night after her husband told her the news, she was also awake all night.

"I feel very happy. Partly happy because I knew my husband won such a big prize, but even happier because my husband won and shared that information with me," said Mr. NP's wife.

According to regulations, Mr. NP is obliged to pay personal income tax at the ticket issuer in Ho Chi Minh City, with a total value of more than 34.4 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
