QTO - In the middle of the straight rubber forests in the Viet Trung region, the sound of rubber tapping knives resounds regularly every morning. When the dew still covers the path, the workers have begun a day of diligent labor. Each drop of white latex is not only a product of the earth and the sky, but also crystallized from the hands, sweat and competitive spirit of the people who are devoted to the profession. Among those rubber tapping workers, Mr. Dang Thanh Ngoc, Production Team Leader of Quyet Tien Team - Viet Trung Quang Binh Joint Stock Company, is a typical example that is loved by many colleagues.

With more than 15 years of experience in the profession, he understands every inch of land, every tree, and the hardships of workers in the rubber forests. For him, competition is not a slogan, but a spirit of dedicated work every day.

Mr. Ngoc said he joined the company in 2010, when production conditions were still difficult. “At that time, storms caused many trees to fall, and latex prices were low. But I thought if I loved the job and worked hard, the trees would eventually revive. Each drop of latex collected was the result of my efforts and belief in the land and the job,” Mr. Ngoc shared.

At Quyet Tien Team, Mr. Ngoc is considered a meticulous and responsible person, with many improvements in his work that help the team increase productivity and reduce waste. On average, each year, he exploits more than 4.5 tons of dry latex, often completing the plan 30-60 days ahead of schedule.

With the above productivity, each year Mr. Ngoc earns about 70 million VND in salary, plus other bonuses and supports, his income is more than 120 million VND/year, being one of the employees with high and stable income of the company. For 3 consecutive years, he was recognized as a grassroots Emulation Fighter, becoming a reliable support for his colleagues in the unit.

Mr. Nguyen The Quang, a worker in the same team, shared: “Mr. Ngoc is an exemplary party member, always taking the lead in all company activities. Every morning, he shows up early to check the weather, shave his mouth, and then guide his colleagues to arrange their time reasonably. He is dedicated, friendly and willing to help everyone, so everyone loves him.”

Not only is he good at his job, Mr. Ngoc is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Quyet Tien Team's Union. He understands that competition is not about winning or losing, but about progressing together, sharing experiences and supporting colleagues. In every specific task, from practicing skills, saving materials to keeping the mining area clean, he is a leading role model.

It is from dedicated people like him that the labor emulation movement in Viet Trung Quang Binh Joint Stock Company has spread more and more strongly. For many years, the unit has been commended by the province, becoming a typical advanced collective in the patriotic emulation movement of Quang Tri province.

Mr. Nguyen Son Phong, Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy Director of the company, commented: “Mr. Ngoc is a person with a high sense of responsibility, always exceeding the assigned plan. He not only does his part well but also encourages his colleagues to try their best. Thanks to exemplary workers like him, the emulation movement in the company is increasingly exciting, contributing to building the collective of Viet Trung Joint Stock Company to become a bright spot in the province's rubber industry.”

15 years of working is the time that Mr. Ngoc has trained himself to be patient, persistent and love his job. Being honored at the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025-2030, he considers it a joy, and at the same time a responsibility to continue to contribute. He confided: “I feel happy and proud to be recognized. For me, emulation is doing my job well every day, so that the Viet Trung rubber forest is always green and our work is getting better and better.”

In the middle of the vast rubber forest, workers like Dang Thanh Ngoc still work quietly every day, persistently and responsibly with their jobs. From them, the patriotic emulation movement spreads, contributing to the strength of Viet Trung Quang Binh Joint Stock Company - a typical collective in the emulation movement of the province.
